আমি ভালবেসেছি তোমাকে
মোর কেহ নাহিকো যে আর
আমার মনের কোরক তুমি
হিয়া-সুধাসার

ঊষার উদয় লগ্নে থাকো
সাঁঝের তারায় লুকিয়ে দেখো
প্রীতির পরাগ প্রাণে মাখো
সরাও ব্যথাভার

ছিলে প্রথম পদক্ষেপে
আছো নিখিল বিশ্ব ব্যেপে'
শেষের দিনে হাতটি চেপে

Yourself I have cherished;
I've nobody else.
You are my bud of psyche,
Heart's ambrosial essence.

At the auspicious rise of dawn You endure;
Hidden in the morning star You observe.
Life You coat with love's pollen;
Sorrow's weight You dispel.

At initial footfall You had been;
The whole world, You're pervasive.
Extending the hand on day of finish,
