Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ámi cáini kona kichu tomár káche
(Shudhu geye gechi) Gán geye gechi
Balini kona kathá kakhano jece'
Dhyáne dekhe' gechi gán geye gechi

Tomár ámár májhe dustara dúr
Chilo ameya apár bhará ajáná sur
Chilo kuyáshá d́háká niráshá bharapur
Tabu bheve' gechi gán geye gechi

Ahetukii krpá prabhu tumi karile
Hatásh mukher páne ceye rahile
Ámi áchi theke' jábo sarvakále
Tomáy bhálabesechi gán geye gechi

O Lord, I do not anything from You,
I only continued singing, singing song.
I never told anything begging,
just continued seeing You in meditation.
Between You and me the distance is hard to cross.
It was full of immeasurable unlimited
unknown melodies.
There was too much disappointment
blanketing with fog,
still I continued thinking of You.
O Lord, You offered causeless grace,
continued to look at this disgusted face.
I exist and would remain all the time,
loving You.
