Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáke peyechi kata tapasyáy
Tháko áro káche mor marmamájhe
Bhávite bhálo láge madhu jyotsnáy
Tomáke ghire' mor man madhupa náce

Vasudhár sárátsár he priya
Sabákár rúpakár varańiiya
Cikiirśá maniiśáy smarańiiya
He alakha dyuti sabe niti tomáke jáce

Tava mamatá maiṋjuśá avirata
Karuńá kariye jáy prati niyata
He vaedúrjyamańi apár hiirak-khani
Jiivane marańe tava mádhurii ráje

O Lord, I attained You after too much of penance.
Stay more close to me,
within the core of my heart.
I like thinking of You like sweet moonlight.
My mental bee dances surrounding You.
O the Dear, the essence of the world,
most adorable creator artist for all.
O the unseen effulgence, memorable by intellect
and for will for action. All seek You always.
Your treasure of affection offers
perpetual mercy continuously.
O the most precious gem, mine of unlimited diamonds,
in life and death both,
Your sweetness is established.
