(Tumi) Pather dhulo theke túle niyecha
Tomár kathá kabhu shuni ni prabhu
Ahetukii krpá more karecha

Duhát bhare more dán karecha
Janak jananii kroŕe sthán diyecha
Hiyá upaciyá bhálabásá bharecha
Ujáŕ kariyá madhu d́hele diyecha

Átape chatra anna vastra
Marudáhe karuńár mádhurjyasatra
Jáhá kichu páiyáchi manete geṋthe rekhechi
Bujhi ná kii je náhi karecha

(তুমি) পথের ধুলো থেকে ভুলে’ নিয়েছ
তোমার কথা কভু শুণি নি প্রভু
অহেতুকী কৃপা মোরে করেছ

দুহাত ভরে মোরে দান করেছ
জনক-জননী ক্রোড়ে স্থান দিয়েছ
হিয়া উপচিয়া ভালবাসা ভরেছ
উজাড় করিয়া মধু ঢেলে’ দিয়েছ

আতপে ছত্র অন্ন-বস্ত্র
মরুদাহে করুণার মাধুর্য্যসত্র
যাহা কিছু পাইয়াছি মনেতে গেঁথে’ রেখেছি
বুঝি না কী যে নাহি করেছ
