Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Bhúloke dyuloke tomár pulake
Karuńár kańá bhese jáy
Bhese jáy ár bhese jáy
Amá jyotsnáy mrgatrśńáy
Hime himániite jhalakáy

Kabhu udyame kakhano lásye
Ashrudháráy kakhano hásye
Baháiyá diye nrtye mátiye
Asiim valaye múracháy

Áṋdhárete dyuti agatira gati
Vyatháhata práńe priitira pratiiti
Sukhe madhusmrti duhkhe vismrti
Ene bhare sudhá vasudháy

O Dear Lord, on earth and heaven,
by Your pleasure,
the particles of Your mercy go on floating.
In the dark nights and moonlit nights,
through snow and ice, like a mirage,
it goes on floating.
Sometimes in actions
and sometimes through gestures,
sometimes in flow of tears
and sometimes through smiles,
You have flowed it, intoxicating by dance,
making the infinite universal ring
stunned with astonishment.
You are illumination in the darkness,
resort of helpless,
symbol of love for the afflicted lives.
You bring and fill nectar in the world
with sweet memories of joy
and obliviousness of pain.
