Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Cáṋderi deshe elo bhese
Ke ek ajáná apsará áji
Maneri końe pratikśańe
Se ágamane dundubhi ot́he báji

Ghumono kishalay jege ut́heche
Jhimono patra práń phire peyeche
Mukule saorabhe kuhu keká rave
Vijan vanabhúmi ut́heche náci

Sabár tandrájaŕimá geche t́ut́i
Pháguner pháge áṋkhi ut́heche phut́i
Patrashobhá ár puśpa manolobhá
Se rúpadakśe neve ásite kareche ráji

Today, one unknown nymph came gliding
from the arena of moon.
By that arrival, each moment
in the recess of mind,
trumpet started sounding.
The sleeping tender leaves awakened.
The slackened leaves got again vitality.
By the fragrance of buds,
and the sound of cooing
and noise of peacock,
the silent garden started dancing.
The inertial drowsiness of all broke off.
The color of spring eyes opened up.
Through the beauty of the leaves
and charm of the flowers,
that skilled in beauty
came down making all acceptable.
