Citta ámár áveg ámár
Caiṋcal kena tumi áji
Jata tapasyá jata cikiirśá
Sárthak hate cale bujhi

Bhorer ákásh beshii je rauṋin
Manobhúme áj báje madhu biin
Tandrá tanimá hayeche viliin
Devadundubhi ot́he báji

Man chút́e jáy dúre bahu dúre
Utalá tat́inii náce smita niire
Uttál hiyá cale je gáiyá
Tava stuti nava ráge sáji

চিত্ত আমার আবেগ আমার
চঞ্চল কেন তুমি আজি
যত তপস্যা যত চিকীর্ষা
সার্থক হ’তে চলে বুঝি

ভোরের আকাশ বেশী যে রঙিন
মনোভূমে আজ বাজে মধু বীন
তন্দ্রা-তনিমা হয়েছে বিলীন
দেবদুন্দুভি ওঠে বাজি’

মন ছুটে’ যায় দূরে বহু দূরে
উতলা তটিনী নাচে স্মিত নীরে
উত্তাল হিয়া চলে যে গাইয়া
তব স্তুতি নব রাগে সাজি’

Oh my spirit, oh my passion,
Why now are you wavering?
All penance and aspiration,
Fruitful it seems they are soon to be!

More color does the early-morning sky wear,
And now a sweet lyre rings out in the mind-sphere.
Dullness and subtlety have disappeared;
The celestial trumpet rises, resounding.

Mind races far away, to a great distance;
An impatient stream skips on smiling waters.
The surging heart, singing it advances;
With new music Your hymn is embellished.
