D́ekechilum báre báre
Sáŕá tumi dáoni prabhu
Badhir haye chile kii kare

Atyácáre avicáre
Sonár svapan paŕlo jhare
Mánavatá keṋde mare
Dáruń háhákáre

Rudra rúpe tumi ele
Shubhra dyuti chaŕiye dile
Dánavatáy puŕiye dile
Jvalanta anale
Viśáńer huṋkáre

দুঃখে ক্লেশে কাতর হয়ে
ডেকেছিলুম বারে বারে
সাড়া তুমি দাওনি প্রভু
বধির হয়ে ছিলে কী করে'

অত্যাচারে অবিচারে
সোনার স্বপন পড়ল ঝরে'
মানবতা কেঁদে' মরে
দারুণ হাহাকারে

রুদ্র রূপে তুমি এলে
শুভ্র দ্যুতি ছড়িয়ে দিলে
দানবতায় পুড়িয়ে দিলে
জ্বলন্ত অনলে
বিষাণের হুঙ্কারে

By sorrow and affliction having been aggrieved,
I had called frequently, repeatedly.
You did not respond, Lord;
How had You become unhearing?

By injustice and by tyranny,
Cast off was the golden dream.
Humanity weeps bitterly,
With wailing extreme.

Then in a form fearsome You appeared;
You let be strewn a splendor clear.
Devilry You did sear
With a fire blazing,
At the roar of clarion.
