Ele jadi ámár ghare
Tomár tare nishi bhare
Álpaná diyechi dváre

Tuliyáchi sahás párul
Máláte diyechi bakul
Ghat́e rekhe' ámramukul
Basechilum pather dháre

Cit udadhi úrmimáláy
Tomáy bheve' nece' beŕáy
Maner mayúr ákáshe tákáy
Krśńa meghe dekhár tare

যেও না যেও না প্রিয় মোর
এলে যদি আমার ঘরে
তোমার তরে নিশি ভরে
আল্পনা দিয়েছি দ্বারে

তুলিয়াছি সহাস পারুল
মালাতে দিয়েছি বকুল
ঘটে রেখে' আম্রমুকুল
বসেছিলুম পথের ধারে

চিৎ-উদধি ঊর্মিমালায়
তোমায় ভেবে' নেচে' বেড়ায়
মনের ময়ূর আকাশে তাকায়
কৃষ্ণ মেঘে দেখার তরে

O My Dear, do not go, do not go,
if You come to my home.
For You whole of night,
I had marked the door
with decoration of welcome.
I have picked up in hands
pa'rul flowers, with smile,
and provided bakul flower
in the garland.
Keeping the welcome decoration
of the mango leaves and buds
at the pitcher,
I am sitting at the edge of the path.
The series of waves
in the ocean of the mind,
dance thinking of You.
The mental peacock look
towards the sky,
to see the dark clouds.
