Je more bhálabesechilo

Káń pete rai rátri jege
Shuńte ke cáy anuráge
Mákhiye maner paráge
Ke ámáke d́eke' gelo

Aharnishi tári ásháy
Kál kálántare háráy
Vyathár ságar akúle dháy
Sheśe tár karuńá halo

জীবনে এসেছিল ভোর
যে ভোরে নূতন আলো এল
সবকে ভুলে' নিলুম তুলে'
যে মোরে ভালবেসেছিল

কাণ পেতে রই রাত্রি জেগে'
শুণতে কে চায় অনুরাগে
মাখিয়ে মনের পরাগে
কে আমাকে ডেকে' গেল

অহর্নিশি তারই আশায়
কাল কালান্তরে হারায়
ব্যথার সাগর অকূলে ধায়
শেষে তার করুণা হ'ল

In life, morning came
and in that morning,
new light came.
The One, Who loved me,
lifted me up,
ignoring all others.
With rapt attention,
keeping awake whole night,
who wants to listen with love.
Churning the fragrance of my mind
who wet calling me.
Hoping for Him day and night,
the time gets lost into the periods,
the ocean of pains, rushed shoreless,
and at the end His mercy occurred.
