Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Neiko vyathá vedaná áji e práte
Shudhu hásikhushi ei dharańiite
Klesher krśńa meghe dúre saráte
Práńbhare gán gáo aruń álote

Neiko upalágháte kona kampan
Jválámukhiite agni udgiirań
Cáper vrddhi hráse jhat́iká svanan
Kharár anal jválá shasyakśete

Neiko samáj májhe preter nácan
Kśudhár anna niye neiko shośań
Neiko kuṋkŕe shiite jiiver marań
Eśańá áche shudhu karite hite

There's no pain or sorrow this morning;
On this Earth, only a smiling jollity.
To set aside the gloomy cloud of misery,
A song you sing to heart's content under sunbeams.

There's no throbbing from a stone's laceration;
From the mouth of volcano there's no fire's eructation...
No increase or decrease of pressure, sound of a storm;
No flame-like burning by sunshine in the grain-field.

Society there is not, amid dancing of dead demons;
With starvation's food, there is no absorption...
There is no creature's death by wintry attenuation;
The wish is just to accomplish all-round well-being.
