Niirava carańe esechile gopane
Mor nayane tumi ogo priyatama
(Keu) Jánite párilo ná dekhite párilo ná
Bujhilo ná ei tava priiti madhuratama

(Takhan) Jharajhara jhara rave vári jharitechilo
Ashani ucchráse nrtya karitechilo
Báhire tarjan antare mohan
E rúp takhan tava halo sárthakatama

Júthiká parimal sajalo samiire
Bhásiyá esechilo andha tamasá ghire
Maner gahane hiyára ekt́i końe
Nijasva haye gele ogo antaratama

নীরব চরণে এসেছিলে গোপনে
মোর নয়নে তুমি ওগো প্রিয়তম
কেউ জানিতে পারিল দেখিতে পারিল না
বুঝিল না এই তব প্রীতি মধুরতম

(তখন) ঝরঝর ঝর রবে বারি ঝরিতেছিল
অশনি উচ্ছ্বাসে নৃত্য করিতেছিল
বাহিরে তর্জন অন্তরে মোহন
এ রূপ তখন তব হ’ল সার্থকতম

যূথিকা পরিমল সজল সমীরে
ভাসিয়া এসেছিল অন্ধ তমসা ঘিরে’
মনের গহনে হিয়ার একটি কোণে
নিজস্ব হয়ে গেলে ওগো অন্তরতম

On silent feet, You'd arrived secretly;
In my eyes You be, my Dearest Dear.
None could know, and none could see...
This they fathomed not, Your love most sweet.

Then, pitter-patter, water had been falling;
And in bursts, bolts of thunder had been dancing.
Outside raging, inside charming...
This mode Yours was most fruitful formerly.

Jasmine fragrance on the humid breeze
Had come floating all about the darkness deep.
In one corner of my heart, a recess of psyche,
Oh the Innermost, You became my own property.
