Chilo vibhávarii mohete ávari
Kúlahárá chilo tamah apár

Dhruvatárá seo d́háká chilo meghe
Jhaŕ bayechilo pracańd́a vege
Ámi d́ekechinu tomáke ávege
Utkramite andhakár

Candanavane bhará chilo káṋt́á
Nándanikeo neve chilo bháṋt́á
Sár hayechilo prapaiṋce lot́á
Pelum ahetukii krpá tomár

নিশা হলো ভোর স্বপ্নের ঘোর
কাটিয়া গিয়াছে আজি আমার
ছিলো বিভাবরী মোহেতে আবরি'
কূলহারা ছিলো তমঃ অপার

ধ্রুবতারা সেও ঢাকা ছিলো মেঘে
ঝড় বয়েছিলো প্রচণ্ড বেগে
আমি ডেকেছিনু তোমাকে আবেগে
উৎক্রমিতে অন্ধকার

চন্দনবনে ভরা ছিলো কাঁটা
নান্দনিকেও নেবে' ছিলো ভাঁটা
সার হয়েছিলো প্রপঞ্চে লোটা
পেলুম অহেতুকী কৃপা তোমার

Night became morning, a dreamy illusion:
Mine, it's got excised today.
The night had been veiled by blind infatuation;
Boundless ignorance had been without bank.

By mist the Polaris, it too had been concealed;
A tempest had blown with furious velocity.
I had been calling You anxiously,
The darkness gloomy to evade.

Thorns had filled the sandal grove;
Decline had quenched aesthetics also.
Wallowed in falsehood had been the marrow;
I received Your causeless grace.
