Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Táhári ásháy patha ceye háy
Diner par din ámár cale jáy
Keu bá bojháy bholo e bhávanáy
Se je ákásher cáṋd táre kebá páy

Jyotsnáloke ámár priiti luńt́hita dekhi
Avaguńt́hita áṋkhi saláje káche d́áki'
Tári parág maner ańu ańute mákhi'
Dhárańá anudhyáne muracháy

Kamal-keshar kay kamaniiyatáy
Ke kabe kothá páy ketana karuńáy
Dhyáne je d́eke' jáy rauṋete rauṋ mesháy
Tári hiyáy se je jhalakáy

The path is watched, alas, in hope of Him only;
Day after day of mine disappears.
If someone would console, please ignore this worry;
For the person who gets Him, the sky's moon is He.

I see my love sprawling neath the splendor of moonlight,
Veiled eyes bashfully inviting nigh.
Smearing just His pollen on each molecule of mind,
Swoons remembrance in a constant reverie.

Gracefully, the Stamen of a lotus speaks;
"Who, when and where finds the flag, it is by mercy.
He blends hue with His, who continues in dhyan calling;
In the heart of her alone scintillates He.
