Ekt́i bháver kon ektáráy
Je rág ráter áṋdhár saráy
Tári sure háriye gechi

তোমার গানের তালে তালে নেচেছি
তুমি জানো না তুমি জানো না
তোমাকে ভালো বেসেছি

ঊষার অরুণ রক্তিমাভায়
ফুলের হাসির মন্থর বায়
তন্দ্রা-ভাঙ্গা চেতনতায়
তোমার পানে চেয়ে থেকেছি

দিনের শেষে সন্ধ্যাতারায়
একটি ভাবের কোন্‌ একতারায়
যে রাগ রাতের আঁধার সরায়
তারই সুরে হারিয়ে গেছি

O Lord, I dance to Your rhythm,
do not You that I love You.
The crimson red glow of the morning sun,
smile of flower and gentle breeze,
with consciousness broken drowsiness,
I look towards You.
The evening star at the end of the day,
with only one ideation on some monochord,
the tune that removes the darkness of the night,
in that melody I am lost.
