Diner áloy kii je shońo
Ráter káloy svapna bono
Kon áleyáy káche t́áno
Kii je tomár sádhaná

তুমি কও না কথা সুনয়না
কেন বলো না
কিসের তরে অশ্রু ঝরে
কে দিয়েছে বেদনা

রাত্রি দিবা কাহার আশে
চেয়ে থাকো নির্নিমেষে
প্রীতির পরাগ জলে ভাসে
কার সকাশে যে ফিরে চায় না

দিনের আলোয় কী যে শোণো
রাতের কালোয় স্বপ্ন বোনো
কোন্‌ আলেয়ায় কাছে টানো
কী যে তোমার সাধনা

O the beautiful eyed, why do not You
speak out, tell me. What for
the tears drop? Who gave you agony?
With Whose hope, day and night,
you are looking without blink,
the pollen of love floats in water,
for Whose proximity,
Who does not like that in response?
Whatever you hear in daylight,
whatever dream you weave
in the darkness of the night,
which mirage you pull close,
what is your endeavor?
