Tomáy ámi bhálabási (Bási go)
Tomár man gokule álo jhalakáy
Se áloke áṋkhi rekhe' hási'

Acená ajáná tumi tabu ápanár
Nityakáler prabhu sárátsár
Tumi cháŕá ámi nái ekathá bujhi sadái
Tava karuńá tamovináshi

Marme mishe' ácho he alakha devatá
Dekhite ná peye káṋdi e mor ajiṋatá
Rajate shukti jiṋáne phele' diye ánamane
Mariiciká páne chut́e' ási

তোমার কথা ভেবে' দিন চলে' যায়
তোমায় আমি ভালবাসি (বাসি গো)
তোমার মন-গোকুলে আলো ঝলকায়
সে আলোকে আঁখি রেখে' হাসি

অচেনা অজানা তুমি তবু আপনার
নিত্যকালের প্রভু সারাৎসার
তুমি ছাড়া আমি নাই একথা বুঝি সদাই
তব করুণা তমোবিনাশি

মর্মে মিশে' আছো হে অলখ দেবতা
দেখিতে না পেয়ে কাঁদি এ মোর অজ্ঞতা
রজতে শুক্তি জ্ঞানে ফেলে' দিয়ে আনমনে
মরীচিকা পানে ছুটে' আসি

Contemplating You daytime goes away;
Yourself do I love, oh I hold dear.
At Your Gokul of mind, light-rays coruscate;
By that light, eyes are kept smiling.

Unfamiliar and unknown, You are my own nonetheless:
The Master, Eternity's quintessence.
Absent You I don't exist, this fact I grasp constantly;
Compassion Thine is gloom's undoing.

With soul You are mingling, hey the Unseen Godhead;
Not having got to see, I cry... this is my foolishness.
Rashly discarding knowledge for an oyster-shell silvery,
Toward mirages I come racing.
