Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáre jabe bheve tháki
Tomáre jabe práńe d́áki
Kon se ráginiite
Tumi balo tumi balo
Tomáre bholá nijere bholá
Bhulile cali vipathe

Kichuri tava nái je anta
Dúr niilimár sheś diganta
Khuṋje pái náko tava siimánta
Bhávábháve tumi ucchala

Tava krpá cháŕá kona gati nái
Tái se karuńá jáci je sabái
Tumi biná prabhu ár keha nái
Priitidiipe samujjvala

O lord, when i think of you,
and call you wholeheartedly,
tell me with what tunes and wordings.
you tell. having forgotten you, by mistake,
i was moving on wrong path,
forgetting my real self.
there is no end of you,
even at the end point distant sky.
i am unable to search your end,
since you are vibrant within and beyond
the periphery of thought.
except your grace, there is no way out,
that is why all beg for Your mercy.
other than you there is no existence;
you are the brilliance in each lamp.
