- ^ At the heart center, the anáhata cakra (literally, "unstruck plexus"), an elevated mind may hear the sound of ankle bells keeping rhythm with the heartbeat as if in dance.[3] That sound is deemed to be "unstruck", because it occurs without there being two things coming in contact with each other, for example, the strings of a sitar and the fingers of a sitar player.
