Álo diye dekhiyechile

Maner maiṋjuśar he hiirakdyuti
Otaprotabháve tomár abádh gati
Randhre randhre gáo citigiiti
Se ráge ámáre ráuṋiye dile

তুমি এসেছিলে দীপক এনেছিলে
মনের মুকুরে হেসেছিলে
ঘন ঘুমঘোরে ছিলুম অচেতন
তুমি আমারে তুলেছিলে

কী মন্দ কী ভালো ছিলো না বিচার
মোর মনের কালো ছিলো চারিধার
বুঝিনি কী সার কিবা অসার
আলো দিয়ে দেখিয়েছিলে

মনের মঞ্জুষার হে হীরকদ্যুতি
ওতপ্রোতভাবে তোমার অবাধ গতি
রন্ধ্রে রন্ধ্রে গাও চিতিগীতি
সে রাগে আমারে রাঙিয়ে দিলে

You had come, a lamp You'd brought;
You had smiled on the mental mirror.
I had been unconscious, in dense-deep slumber;
You had lifted me up.

What is good and what bad, consideration had not been;
The black color of my mind had been four-sided.
I did not comprehend what is real and what is worthless;
By way of the lamplight, sight You had caused.

Hey the mental casket's splendor diamantine,
In a pervasive manner is Your velocity.
At every pore a song of consciousness You sing,
And by that music myself You colored.
