Tomáke bhálabási
Mor páne tákáo ki ná tákáo
Dekhi tava madhur hási

Bhule' jete cáo to bhule' jáo
Athavá káche t́ene' náo
Kuheliite jadi ghire' dáo
Thámio ná mohan báṋshii

Cáoyá nái ámár kichuri
Rájá nai kuvero to nai
Tomáke bheve' trpta hai
Jiivane aharnishi

তুমি জানো কিনা জানি না
তোমাকে ভালবাসি
মোর পানে তাকাও কি না তাকাও
দেখি তব মধুর হাসি

ভুলে' যেতে চাও তো বুলে' যাও
অথবা কাছে টেনে' নাও
কুহেলীতে যদি ঘিরে' দাও
থামিও না মোহন বাঁশী

চাওয়া নাই আমার কিছুরই
রাজা নই কুবেরও তো নই
তোমাকে ভেবে' তৃপ্ত হই
জীবনে অহর্নিশি

Whether You realize, I know not;
Yourself love I
Whether You look or don't look at me,
I see Your sweet smile.

If You wish to keep forgetting, go on ignoring;
Otherwise, draw me near.
If by fog You let be ringed,
Stop not Your charming pipe.

Nothing for me I desire,
Not to be king, even of Kuber's empire.
Having contemplated You I become satisfied
With life all the time, day and night.
