Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

(Tumi) Maner kálimá saráye diyecho
Vinimaye kichu cáoni
Ámáke tomár kare ápanár
Bojhá nite prabhu bholoni

Amár áṋdhár tumi niye nile
Tomár álok more d́hele dile
Balile drutite cale mor pathe
Dekho kona vyathá páoni

Ámi balilám sab kichu tava
Tomár májháre pái práń nava
Tomári priitite cái sabi dite
Tabu tumi kichu náoni

O lord, you removed the dirt of mind
and did not expect anything in return.
by making me Your own,
took my load without ignoring me.
you took deep darkness
and poured your light on me.
you told,"move on my path speedily,
see, you would not get any difficulty".
i told, "everything is yours,
i find new life within you,
by giving all mine, i want your love,
still you do not take anything".
