Ámi to tomáre bhávini jiivane
Tumi mor kathá bhevecho
(Mor) Kśudra hrdaye gopane gahane
Nije sthán kare niyecho

Puiṋjiibhúta je megh chilo mane
Ahamiká asmitá sambharańe
Saráile dúre tumi táhádere
Shata krpá kare káche t́ániyácho

Alakár álo agatira gati
Práńera puruś náo go prańati
Diyecho dyotaná dile saḿdhrti
Samvit diye cetaná diyecho

আমি তো তোমারে ভাবিনি জীবনে
তুমি মোর কথা ভেবেছো
(মোর) ক্ষুদ্র হৃদয়ে গোপনে গহনে
নিজে স্থান করে নিয়েছো

পুঞ্জীভূত যে মেঘ ছিলো মনে
অহমিকা-অস্মিতা সম্ভরণে
সরাইলে দূরে তুমি তাহাদেরে
শত কৃপা করে কাছে টানিয়াছো

অলকার আলো অগতির গতি
প্রাণের পুরুষ নাও গো প্রণতি
দিয়েছো দ্যোতনা দিলে সংধৃতি
সম্বিৎ দিয়ে চেতনা দিয়েছো

O lord!
I never thought of you in my life,
but you thought of me always.

Within my small heart,
in the hidden depths,
You have taken your abode.

You removed the dark clouds
of ego and vanity
that became concentrated in my mind.
By hundreds of actions of grace,
You pulled me ever closer unto you.

O heavenly light!
Resort of the helpless!
Consciousness of my heart!
Accept my salutations!

You provided expression and containment to me
and, by arousing my consciousness,
gave me intuition.
