Tomári lágiyá tomáre smariyá
Ná thámiyá patha calechi
Eso go hrdaye madhura prańaye
Kata káṋt́á dekho dalechi

Kata je jhaiṋjhá mátháy vahechi
Kata ulkár jválá je sayechi
Kata hatásháy kata vedanáy
Vyathábháre nata hayechi

Belá bahe jáy ravi d́ube jáy
Sandhyár kálo cháyá je ghanáy
Sońálii svapan shúnye miláy
Jhará phule málá geṋthechi

তোমারই লাগিয়া তোমারে স্মরিয়া
না থামিয়া পথ চলেছি
এসো গো হৃদয়ে মধুর প্রণয়ে
কত কাঁটা দেখো দলেছি

কত যে ঝঞ্ঝা মাথায় বহেছি
কত উল্কার জ্বালা যে সয়েছি
কত হতাশায় কত বেদনায়
ব্যথাভারে নত হয়েছি

বেলা বহে যায় রবি ডুবে যায়
সন্ধ্যার কালো ছায়া যে ঘনায়
সোণালী স্বপন শূন্যে মিলায়
ঝরা ফুলে মালা গেঁথেছি

Remembering You and for You only,
On Your relentless path I've journeyed.
Come into my heart with affection sweet;
See how many thorns were trod on by my feet.

So many storms upon my head I've suffered;
So many comet flames I have endured.
In great despair, great agony,
Painfully bent was my knee.

Seasons pass me by, the sun sinks in the sky;
Evening's dark shadows, they draw nigh.
A golden dream fades into nothing;
With fallen flowers I've strung my wreath.
