Ek manete ektarate is the 1628th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ek manete ektáráte
Ekt́i surei d́ekechi tomáy
Tomáy prabhu tomáy
Puńyer bhár chilo ná ámár
Chilo ná pratiiti vidyáy

Kál kát́ái ni alasa áveshe
Atiitamukhar smrtira sarase
Jáhái peyechi káje lágiyechi
Geṋthechi priitira máláy

Bali ni vipade karo more tráń
Cái ni kakhano kona vardán
Balechi tyaji mán abhimán
Káje lágáo go ámáy

O lord,
single-mindedly,
on the monochord,
playing a single melody,
I call you.

Neither accumulation of virtues,
nor skill of realisation did i possess.
Passing time absorbed in lethargy,
I remembered the pleasant memoirs of the past.

Whatever i received, i put to use,
and threaded the garland of love.
I did not ask for protection during distress
and never wanted any boon.

My only request to you is that you may put me to work,
thereby removing all my ego and agony.
