Jyotisamudre ek anu tava is the 1121st song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Jyotisamudre ek ańu tava (ámi)
Jáhá kichu peye jái tulaná táhár nái
Náhi tár kona anubhava

Tumi ácha more ghire ananta parisare
Anádikáler theke akáler avasare
Táito tomár siimá nái he abhinava

Srśt́ir liilá chale nece cala ucchale
Kalakákalir májhe kuhu keká rav tule
Shuńiyá tomáy shuńi nái he durlabha[nb 2]

O lord,
You are the ocean of effulgence
and of it, i am a particle.

Whatever i continue receiving,
has no comparison
and is a new experience.

You surrounded me in an infinite world,
moving from begininglessness to beyond time.

You are unlimited.
O ever new one!

In the divine and delusive game of creation,
You dance on vigorously.
Amidst the chirping of birds,
and the peacock's call,
I hear your voice.

O you who are so difficult to attain!
For, even hearing you,
I might perhaps ignore.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ Though the word, Ámi (I), is found at the beginning of this line in both Bangla and Roman script sources, it is not sung in the only available audio rendition. Here the audio rendition is given preference, as the extra word does not seem to be required.
