Kon shalakay pradiip jvele is the 1200th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Kon shalákáy pradiip jvele
Enecho tumi áji
Diip jvalche to jvalei caleche
Ajasra shikháte sáji

Saptaloke diipta kare
Sab áṋdhárke lupta kare
Sakal jiivke trpta kare
Sájáye rauṋer sáji

Sudiirgha tapasyá sheśe
Diip jválále nirnimeśe
Tár álotei avasheśe
Sárle tomár sab káji

With which stick did you light the lamp
You have brought today?
Is that lamp kept ablaze,
Arrayed as countless flames?

It illuminates the seven spheres[nb 2]
And makes all darkness obsolete.
It pleases every living being,
Their wicker trays decked colorfully.

At the end of very long austerity,
You lit the lamp that never blinks.
Finally, with that light only,
You finished your complete duty.
