Varaśár ráte tumi esechile
Vajrakant́he dhvaniyá
Ashaninipáte múśaladháráte
Hunkáre dhará bhariyá

Parvatasama ávilatá bhár
Jaler toŕete rahilo ná ár
(Járá) Dharár áloke kálo karechilo
Tárá gelo kothá bhásiyá

Mánave mánave bhed jágáiyá
Jiirńa kareche sukomal hiyá
Madhura vátáse pápe viśáiche
Tárá gelo dúre sariyá

বরষার রাতে তুমি এসেছিলে
বজ্রকন্ঠে ধ্বনিয়া
অশনিনিপাতে মুষলধারাতে
হুঙ্কারে ধরা ভরিয়া

পর্বতসম আবিলতা ভার
জলের তোড়েতে রহিলো না আর
(যারা) ধরার আলোকে কালো করেছিলো
তারা গেলো কোথা ভাসিয়া

মানবে মানবে ভেদ জাগাইয়া
জীর্ণ করেছে সুকোমল হিয়া
মধুর বাতাসে পাপে বিষাইছে
তারা গেলো দূরে সরিয়া

On a stormy night You came,
Amid the sound of thunder.
Lightning falling with pouring rain,
Your war cry spread around the world.

Weighty mountains of corruption,
Stood not the impact of Your stream.
Those who blacked out earth's effulgence,
They were washed away somewhere.

Rousing differences among human beings,
Tender hearts they did wither.
Friendly winds they poisoned with their sins,
But they were banished afar.
