Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áloker ei jharńádháráy
Tumi ele priya mor práńe
Chande chande mohanánande
Sauṋgiite ráge sure táne

Abháv kichui nái mor mane
Upaciyá paŕe tomári dáne
Háráiyá dishá mor amánishá
Lukolo kotháy kebá jáne

Atiiter páne cáhite ná cái
Tava prerańáy sumukhe tákái
Manovane keká peye tava dekhá
Udvel halo sakárańe

With this same cascade of light,
In my life, Dear, You appeared...
With cadence aplenty, with a bliss fascinating,
With tune-mode and music, with keynotes and melody.

In my mind there is no scarcity;
It's made overflowing by only Your charity.
Getting lost, my new-moon night;
Who knows whereto it went hiding!

To look toward the past I don't crave
By Your inspiration, forward I gaze.
At mind's grove a peacock-cry, getting Your sight,
Was brimming with emotion, accordingly.
