Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ámi tomáy bhálabási
Jánái kii kare'
Marme ámár tare tomár
Áṋkhi jhare

Prabhát ele nayan mele' dekhi tomár álo
Phuler rúpe gandhaniipe mádhurii d́hálo
Púrvácale snigdhánile d́áko ámáre

Sandhyáráge anuráge miśt́i hási hese'
Bale' je jáo ebár ghumáo d́ákbo kál ese'
Tomár kathá priitigáthá bháse ambare

O Lord, I love You, explain me what for.
In the core of my heart, tears fall for You.
When morning comes, opening the eyes,
I see Your effulgence.
You pour sweetness fragrance and beauty
in the niip flower.
You call me in the eastern horizon
in the soft breeze.
During red evening hue smiling sweetly,
You go on telling revolve this time,
I shall call You when the time would come.
Your glory and tale of love floats in the sky.
