Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Bhálabásiyáchi tomáre (ámi)
Maner májháre já chilo gabhiire
Kii kare' dekhábo táháre

Je phul rayeche kalir áṋdháre
Jharáte ki pári táhár madhure
Je reńu rayeche bhare' antare
Ánibo kemane báhire

Je udakadhárá mrt-tale bhará
Tapan tápane hayniko hárá
Prasravańete se amrtadhárá
Áloke ásibe ki kare'

O Lord, I love You.
Whatever was within the depth of my mind,
how can I show that to You?
The flower that remained in darkness of the bud
can it ooze out its sweetness?
The pollen that filled the core,
how can I bring it out?
The water current that is full of mud at the bottom,
and does not get dried up with sun and heat,
how can that flow of nectar be trickled out into light?
