Bhásiye chilum nabhahniile
(Tumi) Ke ele mor surer sáthi
E tarańii váibe bale'

Sahasá ke jena kay
E áse duhkher samay
E karńadhár lukiye ray
Maner końe kichu ná bale'

Paricay rákhe d́heke'
Kichute bale ná se ke
Bale shudhu theke' theke'
Priitir t́áne more ánile

গানের এ তরীখানি
ভাসিয়ে ছিলুম নভঃনীলে
(তুমি) কে এলে মোর সুরের সাথি
এ তরণী বাইবে বলে'

সহসা কে যেন কয়
এ আসে দুঃখের সময়
এ কর্ণধার লুকিয়ে রয়
মনের কোণে কিছু না বলে'

পরিচয় রাখে ঢেকে'
কিছুতে বলে না সে কে
বলে শুধু থেকে' থেকে'
প্রীতির টানে মোরে আনিলে

This boat of song
I have floated in the blue sky.
Who is that You,
the companion of my melody,
who would steer this boat of mine.
Suddenly as if someone tells,
He would come at the time of sorrows.
This helmsman remains hidden silently,
without speaking anything,
in the recess of the mind.
He keeps the introduction covered,
does not tell anything, Who is that?
He only says sitting there
that bring me with the pull of love.
