Ámáre bhulo ná

Taruń trńa pare sabuj gálicáte
Maner mukure phulera hásite
Kabhu káche áso kakhano dúre bháso
Maner vyathá kena bojho ná

Áloke áṋdháre eki tava liilá
Maner májhe theke man niye khelá
Bháver májháre bháv niye liilá
Bháver trut́i kena saráo ná

যেও না যেও না
আড়ালে যেও না
আমি যদি বা ভুলি
আমারে ভুলো না

তরুণ তৃণ 'পরে সবুজ গালিচাতে
মনের মুকুরে ফুলের হাসিতে
কভু কাছে আসো কখনও দূরে ভাসো
মনের ব্যথা কেন বোঝ না

আলোকে আঁধারে একি তব লীলা
মনের মাঝে থেকে মন নিয়ে খেলা
ভাবের মাঝারে ভাব নিয়ে লীলা
ভাবের ত্রুটি কেন সরাও না

Don't go away, please don't leave;
Vanish not behind a screen.
If mayhap I forget,
Please don't neglect me.

Upon young grass, a green carpet alike,
In psychic looking glass, like a floral smile,
At times You come near and at times float afar;
Why don't You understand the mental agony?

Through light and darkness Your Sport is amazing;
From within the mind, it's a game with psyche.
Amid thought, with thought is a merrymaking,
Why do You not rid thought's shortcoming?
