Jegechi juge juge
Sumada anuráge
Kusumer madhu paráge
E citta svágata jánáy

Lukocuri sahe ná ár
O liilá halo anek bár
Jenechi tumi sárátsár
Jeneo ki dúre tháká jáy

নয়নে এসো প্রিয় প্রীতি নিও
এ মধু সন্ধ্যায়
আজিকে দক্ষিণা হাওয়ায় পাপিয়া গায়
বিহ্বল হিয়ায়

জেগেছি যুগে যুগে
সুমদ অনুরাগে
কুসুমের মধু পরাগে
এ চিত্ত স্বাগত জানায়

লুকোচুরি সহে না আর
ও লীলা হলো অনেক বার
জেনেছি তুমি সারাৎসার
জেনেও কি দূরে থাকা যায়

On this sweet evening.
Today neath the southern wind, a hawk-cuckoo sings
With bewildered psyche.

I have been awake for many ages
With a heady fondness.
By blossom's honeyed pollen,
This mind declares welcoming.

No more can hide-and-seek be borne;
That game took place times enough.
Quintessence I have known You are;
Though having known, does staying away succeed?
