Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Prabhu tumi ácho ár ámi áchi
Trtiiya nei bhuvane
Maner sakal madhu d́hele' diyechi
Tomáke ceyechi vijane

Ekiibhúta halo áj tantra o ved
Nyás práńáyam dhyán jináne nei bhed
Dúr halo asúyá sare' gelo kled
Eki himáḿshu háse harśánane[nb 2]

Sakal visrśt́i eki samáhár
Sab abhisphurańer eki ádhár
Ráge anuráge sabe hay ekákár
Eki tái dhyeya jiivane

O Lord, You are there and I am there,
there is no third entity in the world.
I have poured entire sweetness of my mind
and wanted You in isolation.
Today, tantra and Vedas have become one.
There is no distinction amongst worship processes
like nya'sa, breathing discipline,
meditation and knowledge.
All the cynicism and dirt are removed.
Only one moon smiles in the posture of joy.
There is no third entity
in the whole of three worlds.
There is only one aggregate of the universe,
and only one basis of all vibrations.
All colors and hue become unified.
Thus there is only one desideratum in life.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ Though all of the published Bangla source reads harśásane, in the "raw" audio file (recorded right after the song's dictation) and in the more polished audio rendition below (recorded a bit later), we hear harśánane, which in fact makes a bit more sense in context.
