Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

(Priya) Ke bale tomáke bhálo
Kata ná janam kata klesha shram
D́ákiyá caliyá gelo

D́ekechi tomáy mayúkha máláy
Nidághe právrt́e jvaladarci gáy
D́ekechi bhádre shárada rátre
Sádá meghe jvele' álo

D́ekechi hemanter himaváy
Shiiter tiivra tuśárer gháy
Ele vasante jiivanapránte
Náshi' saiṋcita kálo

O Dear, who tells that You are good.
How many lives, with how much struggle and pains,
passed calling You.
I call You in the series of effulgence,
in summer heat, and flood and clouds, singing,
I call You during rainy season, winter nights,
kindling light and in the white clouds.
I call You during cold snowy wind of winter,
during cold burn injury by snow of winter.
You came into the arena of life, during spring,
destroying the accumulated darkness.
