Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomár ásáte he priya cakite
Sarilo tamasá amánishár
Je jekháne chilo anubhave elo
Ahamiká bhár gelo ebár

Marama májháre heriyá tomáre
Manan halo je trpta
Bahirantare sudhá sarovare tava bháve saḿklrpta
Jata bhed bháv já kichu abháv
Nati jánálo carańe tomár

Bhay-lesh-hiin klántivihiin
Nirmal halo citta
Láj tyájiyáchi ghrńá bhuliyáchi hayechi nishcinta
Báṋdhan mániná ánite jániná
Áshis rayeche shire ámár

O Dear Lord, with Your arrival,
the inertia of dark nights
have suddenly vanished.
To all the individuals, wherever they were,
this realization came
and the load of ego is removed this time.
Having found You in the core of mind,
my mind was satiated.
It was drenched in the nectar pond
of Your ideation internally and externally.
All the differentiations and shortcomings
have expressed surrender
by bowing at Your feet.
Without a trace of fear and fatigue,
my mind was purified.
I have discarded all shyness,
forgot hatred and become free from worries.
I do not heed to any bondage,
do not know to pause,
when Your blessings remain on my head.
