Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi esecho diip jvelecho
Áṋdhár dharáte aṋdhár dharáte
Járá ghumocchilo járá kándchilo
Táder jágáte hási phot́áte

Sabái ápan tomár sabái je priya
Tumi sabákár paramátmiiya
Sabáre niye manke mátiye
Liilá racite

Káj kare jáo tumi analas
Egiye calár duranta sáhas
Niye rath cáláo path ket́e náo
Asheś gatite

You've arrived, a lamp You've set blazing
In a gloomy world, in a world of ebon...
Those who'd been asleep, those who were crying,
For their awakening, to make a smile blossom.

Everyone is Your own, everyone someone dear;
You're the most intimate person of everybody.
One and all having received with mind driven amok,
You have composed a divine sport.

Work You go on doing, untiring,
Forward movement's unruly audacity.
With the car You drive, road You traverse,
In an everlasting motion.
