Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Varaśá esechilo bharasá diyechilo
Shyámashrii phire' pábe dhará
Sei bharasár májhe tava giiti rúpe ráje
Chilo táte tava priiti bhará

D́áhuk d́ákibe punah cátak cábe ná vári
Mayúr kalápe nácibe bháva saiṋcári'
Chande chande tále ketakii phule phule
Parág debe mane náŕá

Dardur dhvani ut́hibe sarovar tiire
Bhriuṋga guiṋjaribe niipakeshara ghire'
Maner agocare kuyáshár parapáre
Udbhásibe dhruvatárá

The rain came and gave the confidence
that the earth would again get the greenness.
Within that consolation, Your song is established
with beauty, within which Your love is filled.
The gallinule bird would call again,
the catak bird would no longer seek water,
the peacock would dance raising its tail
with sweet feelings. The bloomed ketakii flowers
would provide fragrance oscillating
with jerk at each rhythm and beats into the mind.
The sound of toads would rise again
at the shore of the lakes.
The honeybee would hum surrounding
the pollens of niip flowers.
Unseen with the mind, from beyond the fog,
the polestar would shine.
