Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Vijana manane mor bhuvane
(Ke go tumi) Ele
Pradiip jvaleni málá meleni
Nijer rúpe dishá bharále

Tridasher upásya tumi devatá
Nivedan kari tái mor diinatá
Mor pare d́hálo tava priiti mamatá
Nirajane prabhu virale

Mahákáshe chut́e cale tava váratá
Sabár shravańa tare shrutikathá
Ananta tava rúp ajuta gáthá
Práńiin prakáshe bháse bhúmá salile

In lonely thinking, my universe within,
Oh Who are You, come You did!
A lamp was not lit, no garland was extended;
By Your own beauty a quarter of the world You filled.

Worthy of worship as God, You are the divinity;
So with devotion humbly do I offer my poverty.
Your love and affection You lavish on me,
At a lonesome site, a locale secluded.

From outer space races in Your tidings,
An audible message for the sake of every ear.
Boundless is Your form, myriad Your poetry;
Upon revelation, living beings float on ample water.
