Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Vrajer gopál cale jáy
Kothá theke kotháy
Nrtyer tále nabhah mandrile
Smrtir pasará phele jáy

Jáni mor kánu jáy náko kabhu
Hiyár antare sadá háse tabu
Cokhe ná dekhiyá manane smariyá
Káche ki dúre bojhá dáy

Bháv mishe jáy kata mahábháve
Abháver bodh háráy svabháve
(Ámi) Kúl-hárá tarii akúlete ghuri
Gokuler mana mańikáy

Vraja's Gopal is leaving–
From where unto where?
To the beat of dance sky You made rumble;
Heaps of memories go on dropping.

I know my Kanu[nb 2] goes away never;
At the depths of heart He smiles nonetheless.
Eyes not seeing, but recalling in cogitation,
Hard is understanding whether far or near.

Thought goes on merging into such great ideation;
Lack's perception gets lost in its own disposition.
I'm a boat its coast lost, shoreless do I rove,
Like a gem crafted of Gokul mentality.
