Every Word Is Meaningful is a discourse given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti. This discourse is the third chapter of Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 34.[1]
Synopsis
The name of this country is “Bháratavarśa”. In this great and ancient country of ours, it is a tradition to use meaningful(6) words.(7) Everywhere you will find words with certain meanings. Each and every word(8) has got its peculiar significance.
Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that “Bhárata” means he who feeds and “Bháratavarśa” means the country that helps you in your trifold development (physical, mental and spiritual). Anandamurti then says that in this fruitful land each word has its signification and introduces a few words for the Supreme (Náráyańa, Mádhava, Iishvara and Bharga). Anandamurti goes on explaining the word "Oṋḿ" in the Gáyattrii Mantra "Oṋḿ bhúr bhuvah svah oṋḿ" and concludes by asserting the significance of each word in the land which assists our all round expansion.="AV34"/>
