In this discourse, Anandamurti discusses the three factors of spiritual elevation or Agragati. Agragati depends on three factors – prańipáta, pariprashna and sevá.
Pariprashna means questions and issues related to a person's spiritual elevation.
Sevá means "selfless service". When an individual is doing Sevá, it should be done selflessly without expecting anything in return. If an individual expects something in return, it is called business and not Sevá.
Anandamurti also discusses prapatti and aprapatti. Prapatti means "full self-submission", In this expression, a devotee feels— "everything is done by Paramátman, by the Divine Entity". On the other hand, Aprapatti means the mental attitude that all is done by individuals.
With these three factors, a person will get spiritual elevation. Except for these three, nothing else will be of any benefit.
