He Is Everything is a discourse given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti. This discourse is the eleventh chapter of Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 1.[1]
Synopsis
Anandamurti starts this discourse by quoting Rgveda Puruśasúktam—[1]
Sahasrashiirśá Puruśah sahasrákśah sahasrapát;
Sa bhúmiḿ vishvato vrtvá’tyatiśt́haddasháuṋgulam.
[Consciousness has a thousand heads and a thousand feet;
He is everywhere on this earth, and He is ten finger-widths above the third eye.]
The attributes of Parama Purusa or the Supreme Consciousness have been explained. The Cosmic Mind is created in the process of creation. He is infinite and has its waves. The universe is the thought projection of the Cosmic Mind. Whatever a unit mind thinks is immediately known to the Supreme Cosmic Mind.[1]
According to Ananda Marga philosophy, there is no question of heaven and hell. So you must not encourage helplessness. He is present in hell and heaven. So you are never alone. You must never encourage the psychology of helplessness. Parama Puruśa is always with you.
An individual person/entity has a brain with a small cranium, therefore, her/his mental capacity is therefore limited. The Cosmic Entity does not require a brain, because everything is internal for Him. An individual entity has small brain, and the Cosmic Mind has Infinite Mind. An individual entity's capacity is limited, but Cosmic Mind has Infinite power and capacity. He is both omniscient and omnipresent.
Finally Anandamurti suggests not to suffer from inferiority complex as Parama Purusa is always with us. He then asks to make Parama Purusa the ultimate goal of life.
