Krsna, the Nucleus of the Universe is a discourse given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti on 1978 September 26 in Patna, India. This discourse is the eighteenth chapter of Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 2.[1]
Synopsis
In the atomic structure electrons will have to move round the nucleus. Similarly, in this expressed universe, everybody will have to move round the Nucleus of the Universe. Krśńa is that Nucleus, and all living beings are just like electrons.
Anandamurti starts the discourse by introducing the shloka: Ye yathá máḿ prapadyante táḿstathaeva bhajámyaham;
Mama vartmánuvarttante manuśyáh Pártha sarvashah.
What one gets depends on one's desires and everyone is moving around Krsna ( The nucleus of the universe) knowingly or unknowingly. He then gives examples to clarify this point. If someone asks for money, He may get money, but he won't get Parama Purusa and if someone wants Mukti or Moksa, He may get it, but he won't get Him, so the best one can ask for is ask for Him not to get pleasure from Him, but to serve the Lord and give Him pleasure. Anandamurti goes on explaining the second part of this shloka, that one can not avoid moving around the nucleus ( Krsna) either from a short radial distance or from a longer one, This path is followed by everyone. There is no other path.[1]
