Anandamurti starts the discourse by saying that ''Tava dravyaḿ'' means "Your property", and ''Jagatguru'' means "the Guru of all moving phenomena". Everything in this universe is created and owned by [[Parama Purusa]]. We can only "create" that which already exists within His vast macrocosmic mind. Anandamurti then explains that ''jiṋániis'' (intellectuals) think that nothing can be offered to Him who owns all. On the other hand, devotees accept the premise that everything is owned by Him; but still they offer their own minds to Guru, recognizing the power of ego. Anandamurti goes on explaining the position of devotees: "The Lord's mind," they say, "had been snatched away." To please Him, they offer their own mind in its place.<ref name="AV3"/>
In this discourse, Anandamurti explains a vedic incantation. ''Ugraḿ viiraḿ maháviśńuḿ'': He is beyond ascription, can face all difficulties, and everything is known to Him. ''Jvalantaḿ vishvatomukham'': He is the source of all energy, and nothing is hidden from Him; within the arena of His mind all exits. ''Nrsiḿhaḿ bhiiśańaḿ bhadraḿ'': Everything moves per His direction; even fear trembles before Him. ''Mryurmrtyuh namámyaham'': Most people fear death, but death is afraid of [[Parama Purusa]]. People die and are reborn again, but those who take the shelter of God will one day become liberated from this cycle and be immortal. So it is mrtyurmrtyuh – the death of death. So He is mrtyurmrtyuh. Each and every intelligent person of the world, everyone who has an iota of intelligence, should try to goad all his energies, all his propensities unto Him. He is the Supreme Shelter. There is no alternative.

Shrii Shrii Anandamurti

In this discourse, Anandamurti explains a vedic incantation. Ugraḿ viiraḿ maháviśńuḿ: He is beyond ascription, can face all difficulties, and everything is known to Him.
