Liberation from Viśńumáyá is a discourse given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti on 1978 September17 in Patna, India. This discourse is the ninth chapter of Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 2.[1]
Synopsis
“Tasyábhidhyáhat yojanát tattvabhávát.” By dint of a never-ending process or practice you come in closest contact with Him. Yojanát and tattvabhávát: tat + tva. Tat means That; that is, Nirakśara Brahma. Ideating on that only, that item only, that entity only, is tattvabhávát. “Bhúyashcánte Vishvamáyánivrttih.” And the final goal of yours, final result of yours, the resultant of so many practices should be liberation from Vishvamáyá.
Anandamurti starts the discourse by explaining the difference between two concepts: Kśara and Akśara. The first refers to the creative entity and the latter to the unchanging purusha. He then introduces a third entity called Nirakśara Brahma. Nirakśara Brahma is also called Taraka Brahma - the point having control over both. Anandamurti goes on explaining that through Sadhana we should withdraw all our propensities and goad them into that one tangential point and that this is the only way to get liberation from vishvamaya.[1]
