How to Find the Lord is a discourse given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti. This discourse is the first chapter of Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 12.[1]

Synopsis

Anandamurti starts this discourse discussing this verse—

Náhaḿ tiśt́hámi Vaekuńt́he na ca yogináḿ hrdaye,
Ahaḿ tiśt́hámi Narada mad bhaktá yatra gáyante.

Translation: Oh, Narada, I don’t stay in Vaekuńt́ha, nor in the hearts of yogis; but I reside where my devotees sing.

In this verse is the mythological abode of Vishnu, but he says to Narada that he does not stay in that place, nor he stays in the hearts of the general spiritual practitioner, He shifts His abode, His nucleus, to that place where His devotees are singing the Lord's name, and doing their kiirtana. In such condition, Parama Purusa has no other alternative but to shift His nucleus to the spot where His devotees are singing.

Then Anandamurti suggests to create a divine environment, not only on this small planet, but in the entire Cosmos.
