The Secret behind Colours is a discourse given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti. and also the first chapter of Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 1.[1]

Synopsis

In this discourse Anandamurti discusses the secret behind colours. According to Anandamurti in the physical world there are three chief colours— white, red and black. White indicates the sentient principle, red the mutative, and black the static principle. Purusa is the creator of these colours and with these colours, He attracts.[1]

If what was secret is once known, people will try to be free; they will not try to remain with the colours of creation.

— Shrii Shrii Anandamurti

After that Anandamurti discusses the reasons behind the creation of this colourful world. He told, the world is colourful, otherwise worldly people might not enjoy to remain in it.[1]

These vibrational expressions remain in Purusa. If these vibrational elements are traced back and forth, only Parama Purusa is reached, both in the beginning and in the end.[1]
