Anandamurti starts the discourse by presenting Parvatii's questions to lord shiva: "What are the minimum qualifications for a ''Sadhaka''(spiritual practitioner) and are there any other qualifications such as age, academic skills and so on?" Shiva's answer was that a human body is the sole qualification for performing [[Sadhana]]. Anandamurti then explains that the dharma of human beings is different than the dharma of animals or plants. realizing God within their hearts is their dharma, and for that self surrender is required. ''Bhagavata Dharma'' has three essentials: expansion of mind, cosmic flow and service to all. Anandamurti goes on explaining that self realization is not a bonus given to the learned and qualified humans, but rather the birthright of all.<ref name="AV3"/>

Synopsis

Now, the entity by whose grace one comes into contact with sat (sat, the non-changeable entity, the non-changeable stance, the non-changeable nuclear entity around which so many electrons move) – that entity, or rather, that framework through which Parama Puruśa is working or Táraka Brahma is functioning, is the Sadguru, Sadguruḿ tvaḿ namámi – "I do my namah before You, at Your altar."

Shrii Shrii Anandamurti

In this discourse, Anandamurti explains the meaning of Sadguruḿ Taḿ Namámi.

Ekaḿ nityaḿ vimalam acalaḿ sarvadhiisákśiibhútam: To establish oneself in the Supreme Entity (pure, stainless and strong in spiritual values, and which undergoes no transformation), spiritual aspirants will have to bring their mind to a singular point. That one point is the supreme stance. Bhávátiitaḿ triguńarahitaḿ Sadguruḿ Taḿ namámi: Parama Purusa is beyond the periphery of all expressions, actions and reactions, all binding forces.
